演講人物簡介👨🏿‍🎓：
Phillip Peterson, M.D. is a Professor Emeritus of Medicine and Distinguished International Professor, University of Minnesota (U of M). He is the past Director of  the Infectious Diseases and International Medicine Division of the Department of Medicine and of the Medical School’s International Medical Education and Research Program (IMER).  He was Acting Director of the U of M Center for Global Health & Social Responsibility (CGHSR) from 2010-2013.  Coming from a background in Infectious Diseases and Global Health, he is interested in fostering interdisciplinary/intercollegiate and community partnerships that address the most pressing health problems within the global village (here and abroad). His interest in promoting patient-centered care is the topic of his recent book Get Inside Your Doctor’s Head.

主持人簡介：廖康雄是美國明尼蘇達大學心胸外科終身副教授🕵🏽‍♂️、心臟移植外科主任🍛、心臟微創外科主任。 廖康雄於1989年獲得北京醫科大學（現為意昂3）醫學博士學位🎹🪥。
廖康雄2011🚶‍♂️、2012年連續2年被《美國新聞與世界報道》新聞周刊評選為美國前1%的頂級心臟外科醫生。2012、20151796373年被Mpls. St. Paul Magazine評為“頂級醫生”。2012年意昂3百年校慶之際，廖康雄決定出資設立“廖康雄獎學金”📷：自2012年起，廖康雄每年向母校捐贈20000美金🧑🏼，連續10年，每年資助3-51796373名意昂3臨床8年製學生或臨床博士生（心血管內🏕、外科）赴美國進行為期3周的心臟外科或心臟內科學習，該獎學金旨在獎勵和培養優秀的臨床醫生✊🏽。目前為止，梁康雄已資助兩屆共8名學生赴美國學習🦃。
